Halloween tonight!
Mood:  happy
I devised a new template for the Web site over the weekend, and the English-language half of the site has it. I hope you like it.

While I do not observe Halloween for a variety of reasons, I did see a young girl dressed as Catwoman tonight. She had a black outfit, with the Halle Berry helmet on. It is nice to know that, even if the movie tanked, the character is so highly regarded. MEOW!!

25 September 2004
One month later
Today is Saturday, 25 September, and in another week, The Batman will air the Catwoman episode. I am curious to see how this will shape up. While this kitty looks much like the current version, she is still considered as one of Batman's adversaries. Contrast this with the current Catwoman, who is in the middle of "War Games," along with the other members of Gotham. An indication of how far Catwoman has come along in the last three years is the fact that, in the latest Catwoman comic, she is now wearing a wrist communicator to keep in touch with Oracle herself! The "War Games" story arc looks like another good one, and is spread out over many comic book titles, including Birds of Prey, Batman, Robin, Batgirl and, of course, Catwoman.

My 1000 Islands trip
Mood:  a-ok
Now Playing: Back from the 1000 Islands
I returned from the 1000 Islands today, and had a decent time. I met my first bat at Upper Canada Village on Friday, 3 September:

and visited Kingston on the following day. It was a great weekend, but exhausting. I looked for a comic book store in Kingston, but found none. One does exist in Cornwall, near Upper Canada Village. I also glanced at the latest Birds of Prey, and it looks interesting.

Canada is a logical place to do a future Bat/Cat series. The country seems more receptive than the US, which seems more interested in "reality" shows like Survivor. The comic book industry in general seems stronger in Canada, where literacy is stronger than in the States.

At the end of the week
Busy week. This site has had to require tweaking, but I am getting this down pat better.

I also want to wish a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY to both Julie Newmar (16 August) and to Jill St. John (19 August). Both appeared on the 1966 Batman television series.

The site is up and running
Mood:  cool
This site is up and running. There is not much that has been uploaded yet, but more material should be in the pipeline soon. Among the items to be added: My own proposal for a Bat/Cat television series. I have my own ideas on what could be done.
