Many people derided the movie in which Halle Berry acted in. While the movie Catwoman is not without its problems, Ms. Berry is an actress with great distinction. She has:

  • Won the Academy Award for Best Actress (Monster’s Ball, 2001), the first African-American actress ever to do so.
  • Been a “Bond girl” who turns out to be the agent’s equal (Die Another Day, 2002).
  • Played a Marvel Comic action figure (Storm) in the movies X-Men (2000) and X2 (2003).

Berry did receive favorable comment for her role as Catwoman (not to mention her outfit). A spokesperson for Revlon cosmetics, Berry is the highest-paid African-American actress in Hollywood.
